This image represents the microstructure of indium oxide on a gold alloy (Au 50% wt). The alloy contains Ag, In and Sn also. Such oxides grow on the surface on cooling the alloy from the melting temperature (1350°C) and appear gray when observed with naked eye. The image was obtained in high vacuum mode with the ESEM XL30 TMP Philips Electron Microscope. The small marker at the right bottom of the image represents a length of 20 µm (0.02 mm).To buy a 300 dpi image..
