This image represents the fracture surface of a Au-Pd-In-Ga alloy, occurred at about 800°C (hot tear). When the fracture occurred the alloy was still plastic and the material deformed during the surfaces separation. The image was obtained in high vacuum mode with the ESEM XL30 TMP Philips Electron Microscope. The small marker at the right bottom of the image represents a length of 50 µm (0.05 mm).To buy a 300 dpi image..
